10 Unusual and Exciting Pets Owned by Celebrities
Even celebrities like to have a cute pet at home to come home to. It´s just that instead of cats and dogs many of them go for unusual and exciting pets.
Here are some of the weirdest and wackiest celebrity pets ever, with goats, raccoons and even lions being looked after by famous people.

If you were a guitarist named Slash then you would own a pet snake as well. Sadly, the snake called Pandora died last year. She was over 25 years old and the man with the extravagant hair said that she was very sweet.

The Australian actress raises some lovely alpacas on her farm in Nashville. This cute animal is mainly found in South America. The beautiful fleece obtained from alpacas is highly valued and in the past would only be used by noble Incas, although we think Incan actresses might also have used it.
8. The Tori Spelling Goat
Tori Spelling can occasionally be spotted taking her pet goat for a walk in Hollywood. She has at least 2 of the creatures, with the original one being called Totes McGoat. That´s a great name for a celebrity goat, to be fair.
7. Tippi Hedren´s Pet Lion
Having a loveable pet lion strolling about the place has got to be good fun, right? At least Tippi Hedren thought so. Tippi Hedren is famous for being terrorized by flying beasts in The Birds movie and for being the mother of Melanie Griffith. She also runs a wildlife center where lions roam freely.
6. Meg Fox and Her Pig
Megan Fox has had a number of unusual pets over the years, including a squirrel, a parrot and a pig. Interestingly, she said a couple of years ago that she had to give away the pig. The porcine chap in question was called Piggie Smalls and apparently he got to that awkward stage where he tried to mount everything and everyone that got into his field of vision.

If there is one thing we can´t imagine Steven Tyler doing it is going fishing with a loveable old raccoon by his side. If we ever caught him drinking tea from a flask and eating nicely cut sandwiches then our whole world would be shattered. The Demon of Screamin (who the heck calls him that anyway?) had a raccoon called Bandit and said that they are popular pets with other celebrities as well.

One of the most famous celebrity pets of all time was a little fellow called Bubbles. The chimp famously drunk tea with Jackson and the Mayor of Osaka in Japan. The fact that Bubbles was apparently regarded as child by the singer – using the toilet, eating candy and so on – helped cement Jackson´s growing reputation as a nutcase.
3. Reese Witherspoon´s Miniature Donkeys
Who wouldn´t want a big dollop of donkey-based magic in their lives? Err, just about everyone ever. Thankfully, Reese Witherspoon decided that getting small donkeys to live with would be a helluva smart move. She even called them Honky and Tonky, to make the whole thing just so unbearably cute. As well as these little guys she has a horse, pigs, goats and a ton of chickens as well.
2. Elvis and His Pet Wallaby
One of the most famously unusual celebrity pets of all time was Elvis Presley´s wallaby. He was given this as a gift by the people of Australia and took it onto the set of Jailhouse Rock before eventually donating it to Memphis Zoo. Elvis was known for being a great animal lover, owning chickens, pigs, monkeys and goats while living at Graceland. He also had a hound dog, we believe.

Perhaps the most ill-advised celebrity pet purchase of all time came from ex-boxer Mike Tyson. His famously unhinged spending sprees led him to blow a massive fortune, with his 3 white Bengal tigers making a sizeable hole in his bank account. It has been estimated that he spent over $300,000 a year in keeping them well fed and looked after. Still, we hope they at least got to use his $2 million bathtub while they lived with Mike.
